Glyph of Innervate - Innervate now grants the caster 45% of his or her base mana pool over 10 sec in addition to the normal effects of Innervate.
Is this a boost or a nerf? I did some math this morning, but didn't get all the factors right... (note to self: no math before 8 am)
As it stands right now, it seems to give roughly over 2500 mana to the druid if they cast it on some one else. I know that seems low, but I checked the logs of my comrade in branches over three fights (two Mimiron and one Iron Council). Hardly empirical but since I don't have the glyph it's the best I could come up with.
Does this mean that the return will be like 1500 over 10 secs? If so, ewwww.
In unrelated news... OMG Peggle Warcraft edition!!
Download it. You know you want to. I wish I could upgrade my Deluxe Edition to a Warcraft Expansion :)

Remember that innervate is being changed in 3.2 to have half the cooldown (and half the power and duration). I expected this glyph change to come, Blizz making the glyph to be half of what it was, as well, since the percent mana returned is based on "base mana pool." It all balances out in that we'll be able to cast it twice as often as we're able to do in the current game (6 minutes vs 3 minutes CD in 3.2).
So, yes, each cast will be less, and the glyph will look less, but we can cast it more often :)
I thought about that, and my rough and foggy math came to about 3.5k mana if casted twice during the duration of a boss fight.
I am still not sold. I love the glyphs I have all too much. It will be good to keep in mind all this for the tree healer in our guild.
Your blog keeps getting better and better! Your older articles are not as good as newer ones you have a lot more creativity and originality now. Keep it up!
And according to this article, I totally agree with your opinion, but only this time! :)
I should digg your article so other people can see it, really helpful, I had a hard time finding the results searching on the web, thanks.
